Where did they finish law?

/ 12:06 AM July 12, 2016

WELL-MEANING friends and strangers who have expressed apprehension over President Digong’s safety should know that he is a fatalist.

That’s why he’s very matigas ang ulo—hardheaded—about his security.

A fatalist is a person who thinks that whatever  happens to him has already been decided by the stars.

In short, the President is a firm believer of destiny.

FEATURED STORIES

During the election campaign, then presidential candidate Digong Duterte said he was not so concerned about winning or losing; the presidency, he said, is a gift from God.

Just recently, Mano Digong said that if he would be felled by a bullet or die a natural death while in office he was certain the country would be in  good hands thanks to his successor, the Vice President.

So, if God gave Digong the presidency, He would not allow him to die in office because the country needs him.

However, Mano Digong should not tempt fate.

Muntinlupa City Assistant Prosecutor Genny Pearl B. Busalpa should go back to law school if she can’t tell a murder from a homicide.

Busalpa downgraded the murder charge against PO1 Arnold Solatario of the Makati City police to homicide when it was clear the cop shot his victim with a deliberate intent to kill.

Solatario shot Vidal Tablizo, 43, who was mentally ill, 11 times with his service pistol.

Tablizo, after being shot several times by Solatario, ran and sought refuge inside his house.

But the cop followed the victim to his house and finished him off while he lay prostrate on the floor.

Tablizo was hit at least twice in the back as shown by the medical report on his death.

Apparently, the victim was running toward his house when the cop shot him from behind.

When somebody is shot or stabbed in the back and the victim dies as a result, that’s murder plain and simple.

Tablizo was also hit in both arms and palms, indicating that his arms were raised when he was shot repeatedly.

Even in war, when the enemy raises his hands in surrender he is spared.

To shoot a person with his arms raised in surrender is murder.

Where the heck did Busalpa, Deputy City Prosecutor Tomas Ken Romaquin and City Prosecutor Aileen Marie Gutierrez finish their law studies?
