Father-daughter drug tandem nabbed in Legazpi City buy-bust
LEGAZPI CITY – Police arrested two suspected drug pushers, a father and his daughter, in Barangay Sabang, Legazpi City in a buy-bust operation, police reports said Friday.
Rogelio “Eliong” Esplana, 53, and his daughter Rochelle Esplana Villanueva, 29, were arrested by operatives of Legazpi City police and Albay provincial police, led by Inspector Wenifredo Padilla, at around 6:20 p.m. Thursday.
Police seized seven pieces of heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing suspected “shabu”. The substance was taken to the police crime laboratory for proper disposition and to determine its street value.
Rogelio is on the illegal drug watch list of the police, Albay police reports stated. CDG
