Police kill alleged thief in Bulacan town

CITY OF SAN JOSE DEL MONTE, Bulacan—A suspected robber was killed on Thursday dawn by the police following a break-in at the Pabahay 2000 resettlement area in Barangay (village) Muzon.

The unidentified suspect and two other accomplices were being chased by a police mobile team following an alert at 11:45 p.m. made by housekeeper Clara Tamayaw about the robbery in her employer’s house on Wednesday night, said Senior Supt. Romeo Caramat Jr., acting Bulacan police director.

The suspects fired at the police vehicle, triggering a gunfight around 2:30 a.m. which led to the death of one of the suspects.

The two other suspects  escaped, abandoning the gadgets they allegedly stole.
