To the delight of netizens, Senator-elect Sherwin Gatchalian posted a photo of him with fellow Senate winner Joel Villanueva during Thursday’s proclamation.
“Ito ang (Here’s the) much-awaited photo with my twin sa (in the) Senate. Haha! #MayTwinSiWin,” Gatchalian wrote on his social media accounts.
The former Valenzuela representative and the former Technical Education and Skills Development Authority director general have been likened and mistakenly identified for each other because of their similar facial features.

Villanueva emerged second in the senatorial race with 18,459,222 votes, while Gatchalian landed on the tenth spot with 14,953,768.
