PDEA WARNING

AFTER M. Lhuillier managers were robbed by men posing as narcotic agents in Lapu-Lapu City last Oct. 5, Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) chairman Undersecretary Jose S. Gutierrez Jr.   warned the public anew against fake agents.

“This is not the first time that the name of PDEA was used by rogue individuals to perpetrate illegal activities,” Gutierrez said in a press statement.

The PDEA chief said his men follow  standard operating procedures in their search operations and checkpoints.

Anti-drug operations, he said, are always coordinated with the local police and search operations are always armed with search warrants issued by court./chito aragon
