Man shoots, wounds 7-year-old boy, 10-year-old girl
CABANATUAN CITY — Police are hunting down a man for shooting and wounding a 7-year-old boy and a 10-year-old girl on Sunday afternoon in Nueva Ecija’s Cabiao town.
Arnel Alfaro, 36, drew out a pistol and fired, hitting the boy’s thigh and the girl’s foot, during a drinking spree with family members at Purok 1, Barangay (village) Sinipit at 4:48 p.m., police investigator PO3 John Ignacio said on Tuesday.
Witnesses said the gun “accidentally fired,” Ignacio said. “The suspect fled on foot and is now the subject of a manhunt operation.” JE
