Binay inconsistent in stance on gov’t cash transform program–Roxas

KAPALONG, Davao del Norte — Administration standard bearer Mar Roxas said vice president Jejomar Binay is being inconsistent in his stand on the government’s conditional cash transfer program for the poor.

“Ano ba talaga?” Roxas asked, adding that the vice president has been opposing the program from the start.
“Now you suddenly say you support it,” Roxas said of Binay to the reporters after visiting a banana processing plant of an agrarian reform cooperative here Tuesday morning.

Roxas said Binay should not flip-flop on his stance “just to win votes.” JE
