Nuisance bet still torments Duterte

ERSTWHILE presidential candidate Rizalito David on Tuesday appealed to the Commission on Elections (Comelec) to reconsider its decision allowing Davao City Mayor Rodrigo Duterte to run for President.

David himself had hoped to run for President until the Comelec declared him a nuisance candidate.

In an 11-page motion for reconsideration, David urged the Comelec to declare null and void Duterte’s substitution of Martin Diño, the original Partido Demokratiko Pilipino–Lakas ng Bayan (PDP-Laban) presidential candidate.
