‘Eat Bulaga’ stars to host Poe-Escudero kick-off rally
Three comedians of a popular television noontime show will serve as hosts in the kick-off rally of Senator Grace Poe’s Partido Galing at Puso.
A one-page schedule of the program distributed to the media showed the names of Eat Bulaga hosts Wally Bayola, Jose Manalo and Ruby Rodriguez as hosts of the rally.
One of the longtime regular hosts of the show, Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto III, is part of Poe’s senatorial slate.
The program is set to start at 3:30 with a performance before the introduction and the speeches of the first set of senatorial bets–Congressman Sherwin Gatchailian, actor Edu Manzano, lawyer Lorna Kapunan, and Congressman Neri Colmenares.

At 5:15 p.m., there will be another performance followed by the introduction and speeches of the second set of senatorial bets–former Senator Juan Miguel Zubiri, Manila Vice Mayor Isko Moreno, Congressman Samuel Pagdilao, and Congressman Roman Romulo.
There will be another performance at 6:00 p.m. before the introduction and speeches of the last batch of senatorial bets–migrant workers advocate Susan Ople, former Senator Richard Gordon, and Senator Vicente “Tito” Sotto.
At 6:30 p.m., there will be a performance before the speech of vice presidential candidate, Senator Francis “Chiz” Escudero.
After another performance at 6:45 p.m. is the introduction video of the team’s standard-bearer, Senator Grace Poe.
Poe will deliver her speech at 6:55 p.m. which will be followed immediately by the “symbolic raising of hands” of the PGP candidates.
The event will conclude with a song number at 7:10 p.m. CDG
