Hostage-takers free one captive–police
MANILA, Philippines — Police said hostage takers released a bookkeeper from the bank they held up in Cavite Thursday afternoon, a police spokesman said.
Four men took hostage eight bank personnel at the Masuerte Rural Bank in Bacoor, Cavite, said Chief Superintendent Agrimero Cruz Jr., Philippine National Police spokesman.
A Crisis Management Committee has been established and Special Weapons and Tactics officers have been sent to the area, said Cruz.
