Stray bullet kills 11-year-old boy in Bulacan
CITY OF MALOLOS—An 11-year-old boy from San Jose Del Monte City in Bulacan was killed by a stray bullet during a community gathering last Saturday, according to a belated report on Tuesday.
The bullet struck the head of Polo Araneta, who was dancing outside their house.
The boy died on the way to the East Avenue Medical Center.
Alberto Araneta, the slain boy’s father, said they suspect the bullet was fired not far from their house.
Supt. Charlie Cabradilla, city police chief, said investigators are measuring the trajectory of the bullet to help them track down the gun’s owner. RAM
