WATCH: Stars appear, Roxas chest bumps James Yap in music video
Filipino celebrities and sports icons have appeared in a new music video where they expressed their support to the administration party standard bearer former Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II and his running mate Camarines Sur Representative Leni Robredo.
The music video for the song “Fast Forward” showed onscreen couple Kathryn Bernardo and Daniel Padilla, “Diamond Star” Maricel Soriano and cager James Yap.
Other celebrities who were in the video were: Karylle, Angelu de Leon, Carla Abellana, Melai Cantiveros, Jason Francisco, Chokoleit, James Yap, Ramon Bautista, Rufa Mae Quinto, and Martin del Rosario.
Roxas played basketball with Yap in the video, even doing a “chest bump” with the Star Hotshots player.
Meanwhile, Leni was seen conversing with a woman in a market stall before Roxas talked to him.
Roxas’ wife Korina Sanchez and Robredo’s three daughters: Aika, Tricia, and Jillian were also in the video.
The video ends with the greeting: “Isang Maligayang Paskong Matuwid.”
The song was performed by Kris Lawrence, Jay-R, and Billy Crawford. It was written by Lawrence, Jay-R and Vehnee Saturno.
Earlier, the Roxas camp released a video of Liberal Party presidential bet conversing with Padilla about his proposed solutions on the worsening Metro Manila traffic.
It was Sanchez who revealed through her Instagram account that they have tapped “KathNiel” (the love team of Padilla and Bernardo) to support the Mar-Leni tandem. AJH
