Did you know: International Day of Persons with Disabilities in the PH

Dec. 3 was declared International Day of Persons with Disabilities in the Philippines under Proclamation No. 1157 signed Oct. 16, 2006, by then President Gloria Macapagal-Arroyo.

The National Council on Disability Affairs is the lead agency for its observance.

The council’s office is in Barangay Holy Spirit, Quezon City. Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
