Poe to retain ‘best performing’ Cabinet execs if elected

Sen. Grace Poe has said she will retain the “best performing” Cabinet members who are currently serving the Aquino administration if she will be elected president in 2016.

“I’ll be happy to retain the best performing secretaries. Good managers after all are not easy to find,” Poe said at a presidential forum in Makati City on Wednesday night.

She said she would choose her Cabinet wisely and that friendship or favors would not be used as a criterion.

“Why replace them just because the administration has changed?” she added.

Poe said her Cabinet members should have integrity and knowledge of their job and should be held accountable if they failed to deliver on their duties. RC
