(UPDATED) Classes suspended in Bulacan Friday due to heavy rains

CITY OF MALOLOS—Fourteen areas in Bulacan have suspended their classes on Friday due to heavy rains brought by tropical storm “Kabayan.”

The local government units of Bocaue, Balagtas, Guiguinto, Marilao, Pulilan, San Jose Del Monte, Pandi, Obando, San Miguel, Sta. Maria, Calumpit, Meycauayan, Norzagaray, and Plaridel have ordered the suspension of classes at all levels as Kabayan made landfall in Aurora Friday morning.

Classes from elementary to high school were also canceled in the municipalities of Malolos, Hagonoy, Paombong, Bustos, and Baliuag, according to Bulacan Provincial Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Council. Ron B. Lopez/RAM
