2 QC cops behind trade of stolen motorcycles nabbed in Bulacan town

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan—Two policemen assigned in Quezon City who were suspected of trading stolen motorcycles were arrested in San Jose del Monte City in Bulacan on Wednesday night.

Senior Supt. Ferdinand Divina, Bulacan police director, said SPO1 Dante Surban and PO2 Sherwin Castaneda, both from the Quezon City Police District, were arrested when they sold a motorcycle to Bulacan policemen who posed as buyers in a sting operation in Palmera Homes Subdivision in Barangay (village) Kaypian at 10:30 p.m.

Recovered from them were a frame of a Yamaha motorcycle and seven other motorcycles. Carmela Reyes-Estrope/RAM
