Unidentified man killed in Bulacan shootout

CAMP GEN. ALEJO SANTOS, Bulacan– A man was killed in a shootout with Bulacan police at noon on Saturday when he inexplicably fired at policemen manning a checkpoint along Viola Highway in San Rafael town.

Chief Supt. Rudy Lacadin, Central Luzon police director said they have yet to identify the fatality, who was carrying a .9 mm pistol, and who drive a Yamaha Mio motorcycle which had no plate numbers. Carmela Reyes-Estrope, Inquirer Central Luzon/CDG
