Grace Poe to declare presidential bid on Sept. 16 — sources

While she kept mum on her plans in 2016, Senator Grace Poe’s camp has started meeting with different television news teams to arrange the coverage for the launching of her presidential bid on Wednesday, September 16, 2015.

Various sources confirmed separately that Poe would declare her presidential bid at 6 p.m. at the Bahay ng Alumni in the University of the Philippines in Diliman, Quezon City.

The first source said the event was organized by Poe’s supporters, including the Grace Poe for President Movement.

The source could not disclose, however, the prominent personalities attending the event, except to say that “Puro mga friends and supporters.”

While Poe’s office has yet to confirm the schedule and the venue, another source disclosed that some of the senator’s people were already coordinating with the news teams of various TV networks. Maila Ager
