Car catches fire in Makati City

A sports utility vehicle caught fire in Barangay San Lazaro in Makati on Saturday.

Erick Neri of Makati Traffic’s command center said a Range Rover with plate number WLD 888 went ablaze at 3:34 p.m. at A. Arnaiz Avenue near a branch of Philippine National Bank.

The vehicular fire was declared out at 3:49 p.m.

Neri said no injuries were reported, while the traffic situation in the area remained light to moderate.

The cause of the fire is yet to be determined. YG/RC
