Aquino to Air Force: It’s been an honor to have been your chief

CLARK FREEPORT — President Benigno Aquino III on Wednesday attended his last Philippine Air Force (PAF) founding anniversary telling the country’s airmen that it had been an honor to have served as the military’s president and commander-in-chief.

“As I greet you on your 68th anniversary, I want to tell you that it was truly and honor to have served as president and commander in chief of an armed forces that is an example of skill, discipline, and professionalism,” Aquino said.

He also emphasized that he would be leaving an Air Force that is equipped with modern materiel, completing 55 projects in five years compared to the total of 45 done by three administrations. Nikko Dizon
