The latest figure was 11 points higher than the record low +31 rating (58 percent satisfied minus 28 percent dissatisfied, rounded off) that Binay scored in March, which SWS also rated as “good.”

In the 19 quarterly surveys that SWS conducted before June, the Vice President got an “excellent” +70 and above ratings eight times, including a record high +76 net score which he reached twice (August 2012 and June 2013).

The results of the same June survey already released last week showed President Aquino’s net satisfaction rating recovering to +30 (57 percent satisfied minus 27 percent dissatisfied) from a record low +11 (47 percent satisfied minus 36 percent dissatisfied).

Senate President Franklin Drilon’s net satisfaction ratings declined 6 points from a “good” +35 (57 percent satisfied minus 22 percent dissatisfied) in March to a “moderate” +29 (52 percent satisfied minus 24 percent dissatisfied, rounded off) in June.

The net score of House Speaker Feliciano Belmonte Jr. slightly dropped 3 points from a “moderate” +12 (38 percent satisfied minus 26 percent dissatisfied) to “neutral” +9 (37 percent satisfied minus 28 percent dissatisfied).

Public net satisfaction with Chief Justice Ma. Lourdes Sereno improved by a point, from +10 (38 percent satisfied minus 28 percent dissatisfied) in March to +11 (37 percent satisfied minus 25 percent dissatisfied, rounded off) in June. Both were rated as “moderate” by the SWS.

The net satisfaction rating of the Cabinet as a whole remained “moderate” but went down by one point, from +13 (41 percent satisfied minus 28 percent dissatisfied) in March to +12 (39 percent satisfied minus 27 percent dissatisfied) in the second quarter.

SC still ‘good’

The Supreme Court maintained its “good” net score but declined by two points, from +34 (57 percent satisfied minus 34 percent dissatisfied, rounded off) in the first quarter to +32 (53 percent satisfied minus 22 percent dissatisfied, rounded off) in June.

The Senate’s still “good” net score increased by two points, from +31 (56 percent satisfied minus 26 percent dissatisfied, rounded off) in March to +33 (56 percent satisfied minus 23 percent dissatisfied).

Public satisfaction with the House of Representatives remained unchanged at +20 (44 percent satisfied minus 24 percent dissatisfied) which SWS rated as “moderate.”

The survey, conducted from June 5 to 8, involved face-to-face interviews with 1,200 adults and had a margin of error of plus or minus 3 percentage points.
