Heard on Radyo Inquirer 990AM: Trade usec on price of bread

Between January and May, the price of wheat went down by 30 percent. It should have made a big impact on the price of flour, but we observed no movement and that’s why the price of bread also didn’t go down. We have already launched an investigation.—Trade Undersecretary Vic Dimagiba
