Aquino unveils marker on Iloilo roads named after Cory, Ninoy

ILOILO CITY–President Benigno Aquino III arrived at the Iloilo International Airport in Cabatuan town around 11:30 a.m. and proceeded to Barangay Ungka II in Pavia town. He unveiled a marker at the junction of roads named after his late parents President Corazon “Cory” Aquino and Sen. Benigno “Ninoy” Aquino Jr.

Aquino will proceed to inspect other government projects before unveiling a marker at the restored old Iloilo provincial capitol.

He will lead the Independence Day celebrations in the province on Friday.
