Interior Secretary Manuel “Mar” Roxas II would be the Liberal Party’s (LP) bet, Senate President Franklin Drilon said on Wednesday.

“Ang aming kandidato sa partido pagdating ng panahon ay si Mar Roxas (Mar Roxas will be our party’s standard-bearer in the future),” Drilon, vice chairman of LP, said in an interview over DZRH.

Drilon reiterated that the country’s next leader should have integrity, meaning he or she should have no record or allegation of corruption.
