UP ’75 grads mark ruby year
University of the Philippines alumni who graduated in 1975 will mark their Ruby Jubilee during the UPAA Grand Alumni Homecoming on June 20 at Ang Bahay ng Alumni, UP Diliman.
Class ’75 was in the thick of the student activism of the 1960s and ’70s when the UP “Barikada” went up and martial law was declared. Many members stood out for defying unlawful authority.
“We hope this will be apparent in our batch presentation at the homecoming,” said class member Bibeth Orteza who will direct the number.
