Jealous husband shoots wife in mouth in Benguet

Jealousy allegedly drove a 40-year-old businessman to shoot and kill his wife in La Trinidad, Benguet.
Arnold Quimoyog was drunk when he arrived home in Stonehill, La Trinidad, Monday night, a local media report said.
He reportedly confronted his wife Marilou, 40, and accused her of having an affair with another man. A heated then argument ensued.
During the argument, Quimoyog allegedly pulled out a gun and shot Marilou at close range. The shooting was reportedly witnessed by their minor children and two of their employees.
Radio dzMM later reported that the victim was hit in the mouth.
After the shooting, a 14-year-old son of the couple ran out to seek help and chanced upon SPO2 Anthony Lang-akan who immediately responded.
Quimoyog readily gave himself up and was detained at the La Trinidad Municipal Police Station. He faces parricide charges, reports said. CB
