6 hurt in 3-vehicle collision on NLEx

CITY OF SAN FERNANDO, Pampanga – Six persons were hurt in an accident that involved three vehicles traversing the northbound section of the North Luzon Expressway (NLEx) along the Candaba-Apalit viaduct in Pampanga on Wednesday morning.

The Tollways Management Corp., operator of the NLEx, said initial investigation showed that the brakes of a truck malfunctioned, causing it to hit another truck at 7 a.m. The second truck, in turn, hit a car.

Reports said the victims only suffered bruises and were not taken to a hospital. SFM/AC
