MANILA, Philippines—Two members  of the  Philippine National Police-Special Action Force   who survived the  bloody  Mamasapano encounter  last January 25 came to the Senate on Monday but  they were not presented  before the first public investigation  conducted on the incident because of their physical  conditions.

Senator  Grace Poe, head of the Senate  committee on  public order, said both  Police  Superintendent Raymond Train and  Police Officer 2 Christopher  Lalan were at the Senate  but they  will hold a separate   meeting with them.

“Sila po ay pwedeng makausap sa hiwalay na  pagkakataon  dahil na rin po sa physical nilang kalagayan,” Poe said  in her  opening statement.
