LUCENA CITY, Philippines -– A US Navy unmanned aerial vehicle or drone, which is believed to have crashed or malfunctioned, was found in the island town of Patnanungan, Quezon, on Sunday afternoon.

Inspector Rolando de Luna, Patnanungan police chief, in a report Monday to the police provincial headquarters here in Camp Nakar, said the aerial target drone BQM-74E with serial number BQ55079 was recovered at Sitio Katakian in Barangay (the village of) Busdak at 4 p.m.

Police said the sighting of the drone was reported to the municipal police station by a barangay official but due to bad weather condition, the lawmen could not reach the area at once.
