Technical glitch disrupts MRT operations

MANILA, Philippines — Operations of the Metro Rail Transit 3 (MRT-3) were disrupted momentarily due to a technical problem on Monday morning.

MRT spokesperson Lawyer Hernando Cabrera said half-line operations were observed starting 8:03 am after a “technical problem” was discovered between the southbound lane of Ayala and Magallanes stations.

Train‎s traveled from North Avenue station up to Shaw Boulevard station and vice versa until the affected area was fixed at around 8:50 am, Cabrera said.
