Thai national falls to death from Makati building rooftop

MANILA, Philippines—A male Thai national fell to his death Wednesday night from the rooftop of Bankmer building on Ayala Avenue in Makati City.

In a text message sent to INQUIRER.net by a Makati City Police official who requested not to be named, the man identified as Kirk Priebjrivat, 37, jumped from the 15th floor of the building at around 6:10 p.m.

Police said that they have already secured the area.

The incident caused heavy traffic on Ayala Avenue, according to tweets from Makati City Traffic’s official Twitter account.

The alleged suicide is still being investigated by the police.
