Did you know: Jesus Villamor

Ace pilot and World War II hero Jesus Villamor was born on Nov. 7, 1914. Villamor gained fame for his dogfights with Japanese fighter pilots. He also assisted in the planning of the Manila International Airport and was appointed MIA director upon its establishment. Villamor died on Oct. 28, 1971 and was buried at the Libingan ng mga Bayani. Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
