Aquino appoints Ateneo exec to MWSS

MANILA, Philippines—President Benigno Aquino has appointed Ateneo de Manila University President Fr. Jose Ramon Villarin as an acting member of the board of trustees of the Metropolitan Waterworks and Sewerage System.

Villarin was appointed to the MWSS board along with Guillermo Tabios. Their appointments were made as early as August 16, according to Palace documents sent out to reporters on Saturday.

Villarin replaced Oscar Garcia while Tabios replaced Albert Balingit.
