Napoles at Sandiganbayan for bail hearing

MANILA, Philippines—Detained businesswoman and alleged pork barrel mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles has arrived at the Sandiganbayan for the continuation of her bail hearing.

Napoles arrived at the anti-graft court shortly after 7 a.m. Friday accompanied by a high-security convoy from the Bureau of Jail Management and Penology.

She left her detention cell in Camp Bagong Diwa in Taguig City at 6:20 a.m.

Napoles is charged with three counts of plunder after she was tagged as the brains behind the P10-billion pork barrel scam wherein lawmakers allegedly funneled their Priority Development Assistance Fund, or pork barrel funds, to her bogus-non government organizations.
