Luy: Revilla got half of PDAF allocations for TRC, Nabcor, NLDC
MANILA, Philippines — Principal whistleblower Benhur Luy told the Sandiganbayan on Thursday of the supposed commissions for Senator Ramon Revilla Jr. and accused mastermind Janet Lim-Napoles from the alleged pork barrel scam.
During the bail hearing of Revilla, Luy took the witness stand and revealed the percentage of kickbacks from Revilla’s pork barrel funds for each project assigned to different implementing agencies.
For projects under the Technology Resource Center (TRC) and National Agribusiness Corporation (Nabcor), Luy said Revilla got half or 50 percent of his Priority Development Assistance Funds (PDAF) as kickbacks.
Revilla’s co-accused for plunder Atty. Richard Cambe got five percent rebate, Luy said.
Napoles, meanwhile, got 32 percent, Luy said, while the head of the agencies got 10 percent.
Dennis Cunanan and Antonio Ortiz, the former heads of TRC, and Nabcor head Allan Javellana are all charged for graft.
Luy said Revilla also got half or 50 percent while Cambe got 5 percent as kickbacks in the projects coursed under another agency the National Livelihood Development Center (NLDC).
Meanwhile, Napoles got 40 percent of the PDAF as kickbacks, while NLDC head Gondelina Amata got only two percent in kickbacks. Amata is also charged for graft.
The court is hearing the plunder case of Revilla, Napoles and their co-accused for their alleged involvement in the multi-billion racket of spending pork barrel funds to ghost projects for kickbacks.
