Zamboanga Sibugay businessman’s daughter kidnapped

ZAMBOANGA CITY – Four armed men abducted an 8-year-old daughter of a businessman in Olutanga, Zamboanga Sibugay, on Friday afternoon.

Senior Superintendent Jose Bayani Gucela, spokesperson for the police in Western Mindanao, identified the victim as Jewel Mariel Nique, who was taken from the family-owned snack house in Poblacion Olutanga at 6:20 p.m. Friday.

Gucela said the kidnappers fled with their victim on a pumpboat.
