Ruiz said Henry was forecast to be at 470 kilometers east of Virac Catanduanes by Sunday morning and 410 kilometers east of Tuguegarao City in Cagayan by Monday morning.

He said the tropical depression was expected to be 120 kilometers of Basco, Batanes by Tuesday morning.

He said Henry would not make landfall but would enhance the southwest moonsoon or “habagat.”

Pagasa forecasts that Visayas, Mindanao, Bicol region, Cagayan Valley and the provinces of Aurora and Quezon would have cloudy skies with light to moderate rainshowers and thunderstorms.

The rest of the country will be partly cloudy to cloudy with isolated rainshowers and thunderstorms, it said.
