Schools extend class suspensions due to ‘Glenda’

MANILA, Philippines—Despite the expected exit of Typhoon “Glenda” (international name: Rammasun), several schools on Wednesday extended the suspension of classes on Thursday, while some have canceled classes until Friday.
Universities and colleges that suspended their classes are:
University of Santo Tomas (cleanup Thursday—all levels)
Far Eastern University Manila
FEU Makati (until Friday)
Bicol University (until Friday)
Don Bosco College Canlubang (classes resume Monday)
Classes in all levels for public and private schools in these areas are suspended:
Marikina
Makati
Pateros
Parañaque
San Juan
Cavite
Camarines Sur (until Friday)
Navotas (unrestored power in the city)
Batangas province
Mandaluyong
Bataan
Classes in preschool to high school for public and private schools are suspended in:
Pasay City
Quezon City
Classes in preschool to high school for public schools only are suspended in:
Taguig City
Classes in preschool are suspended in:
Pasig City
