Schools extend class suspensions due to ‘Glenda’

MANILA, Philippines—Despite the expected exit of Typhoon “Glenda” (international name: Rammasun), several schools on Wednesday extended the suspension of classes on Thursday, while some have canceled classes until Friday.

Universities and colleges that suspended their classes are:

University of Santo Tomas (cleanup Thursday—all levels)
Far Eastern University Manila
FEU Makati (until Friday)
Bicol University (until Friday)
Don Bosco College Canlubang (classes resume Monday)

Camarines Sur (until Friday)
Navotas  (unrestored power in the city)

Pasay City

Quezon City

Classes in preschool to high school for public schools only are suspended in:
