MANILA, Philippines — Senator Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada arrived at the Sandiganbayan on Tuesday for his bail motion hearing in connection with the pork barrel scam case.
Estrada, the son of former president and now Manila mayor Joseph Estrada, has asked the court’s nod for him to post bail on plunder, a non-bailable offense.

He is detained at the Philippine National Police Custodial Center after an arrest warrant was issued against him.
