MANILA, Philippines  – The Metro Manila Development Authority on Monday has ordered billboard operators in Metro Manila to roll down their tarpaulins from advertising billboards in view of Tropical Storm “Glenda” (Rammasun).

Edsa and other major roads in the city are teeming with billboards, and the move is seen to prevent accidents that could be caused by the storm’s winds.
