In a white coaster escorted by several police vehicles, Revilla arrived at the Philippine National Police (PNP) Custodial Center shortly before 1 p.m.

Revilla, with his co-accused and deputy chief of staff Richard Cambe, left at Camp Crame at around 7 a.m.

The security entourage was composed of Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) and Highway Patrol Group (HPG) security forces.

The detained senator earlier refused to enter his plea before the Sandiganbayan’s First Division for his plunder and graft charges in connection with the P10-billion pork barrel scam.

The court then entered a not guilty plea for Revilla.

His cellmate, Cambe, meanwhile, entered a not guilty plea, and so did the scam’s alleged mastermind Janet Lim- Napoles.

With Revilla was his wife and Bacoor Representative Lani Mercado.

The schedule of visit for Revilla and fellow Senator Jinggoy Estrada is on Thursdays and Sundays from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Despite the high-security entourage, Chief Superintendent Reuben Theodore Sindac, PNP Public Information Office chief, said that the Senator is not a flight risk.

Revilla was not even handcuffed when he was escorted out of the Custodial Center.
