Siblings engaged in cybersex nabbed

MANILA, Philippines–Four siblings were arrested after the police caught them performing pornographic acts in front of a web cam inside their house in Caloocan City over the weekend.

The Northern Police District’s Special Operations Unit, which arrested the four suspects, withheld their identities as they prepared to charge them with violating online pornography laws.

The police would only say that those arrested were three men and a woman aged between 18 and 26. The siblings lived in Kaunlaran Village, Caloocan City and were arrested in their house on Saturday evening.

Investigators said they raided the suspects’ house after receiving information that the family were exploiting minors to engage in cybersex.

However, they found inside the house only the four suspects who were performing pornographic acts in front of a webcam.

The siblings’ parents apparently were not in the house when the police came. Also, contrary to the information they received, the police did not find minors in the house.

The police seized as evidence the computer that the suspects used to connect online. It will now be examined for digital files that could serve as proof against the siblings.
