Arrogant driver

/ 11:22 PM September 18, 2011

At around midnight last Sunday, September 11, I was in a passenger jeepney going to Sucat in Parañaque City, when our driver had an altercation with the driver of a beige Toyota Camry (XMK 838) in front of Mareclo subdivision. The driver of the Camry got out of his car and placed his hand on something tucked into the waistband of his pants to indicate that he had a gun. He then hit the face of the jeepney driver repeatedly while shouting in Filipino, “Why are you looking at me?” and “You should be thankful that I’m not wearing my uniform!” When he went back to his car he angrily looked at me and the other jeepney passengers when he saw we were looking at his car’s plate number.—Name withheld upon request, Parañaque City
