He was reacting to Pulse Asia’s March 19-26 survey that showed “constant” trust and approval ratings for the President.

Although Aquino’s approval rating dipped to 70 percent this month from 73 percent in December and his trust rating dropped to 69 percent from 74 percent, the numbers remain relatively high and the change almost negligible because of the margin of error.

“I think the Pulse Asia result shows that the number that has remained statistically the same,” Coloma said.

He said the survey results were a “reminder for the national leadership to intensify its efforts to deliver the reforms that were promised,” considering the “high expectations” of the people.

During the same survey period, Vice President Jejomar Binay and Senate President Franklin Drilon experienced gains in their trust and approval ratings.
