IEDs seized from rebels in Camarines Sur

CAMARINES SUR, Philippines—The Army claimed seizing 5 kilograms of improvised explosive devices from communist rebels following clashes in Lagonoy town in Camarines Sur province.

Captain Mardjorie Paimela Panesa, public information officer of the Army’s 9th Infantry Division based in Pili town, Camarines Sur, said the military suspected more explosives were being kept by the rebels and sent K-9 units to check. Shiena M. Barrameda, Inquirer Southern Luzon
