“Wala pong iba kundi ang katotohanan at iyan din po siguro ang nais ng ating mga kababayan,” Communications Secretary Herminio Coloma said in a Palace press briefing Wednesday.

(Nothing else but the truth and that is probably what the rest of the country wants to know.)

Coloma said it was no surprise that the whole country was interested in the issue since it involves those accused of misusing the people’s money.

“Kaya’t sa lahat ng pagkakataon, ninanais natin, ninanais ng mamamayan na matuklasan ang katotohanan sapagkat ang katotohanan ang magbibigay ng katarungan doon sa usaping ito,” he said.

(For all instances, we want the people to know the truth because the truth will pave the way for justice.)

Tuason, who is accused of serving as conduit of Senators Jose “Jinggoy” Estrada and Juan Ponce Enrile, is set testify before the Senate blue ribbon committee on Thursday.
