Napoles is currently detained at Fort Sto. Domingo, the training camp of over 200 PNP SAF trainees, in ‎Sta. Rosa, Laguna. She was detained for the illegal detention charges filed by pork barrel scam whistle-blower Benhur Luy.

According to Sindac, ‎one platoon, or 30 personnel, from the Calabarzon Regional Public Safety Battalion will replace SAF manning Napoles’ cell.

‎Asked if the security of Napoles would be compromised due to the pulling out of SAF, the PNP PIO chief said RPSB personnel also have the capability to provide sufficient security as they are also “highly-trained.”
