6 hurt as bus falls on its side on NLEX

MANILA, Philippines–Six people were injured when a passenger bus fell on its side along the southbound lane of the North Luzon Expressway on Tuesday, Christmas eve.

Michael Mallari of NLEX Traffic Control Room said the incident happened near Balintawak exit involving a Santrans bus with license plate NYZ 381 around 4 p.m.

He said they have yet to receive a report from investigators on the circumstances of the accident, adding the six passengers sustained minor injuries.

The injured, he said, were taken to thebMCU Hospital.
