Did you know: Fireworks-related injuries

According to the Department of Health, the National Capital Region recorded the highest number of fireworks-related injuries from Dec. 21, 2012, to Jan. 5, 2013, with 521 cases. The cities with the most number of injuries are Manila with 168 cases and Quezon City with 120 cases. San Juan and Pateros had the least number of fireworks-related injuries, with 2 and 3 cases respectively. Marielle Medina, Inquirer Research
