PCSO gives lotto funds to help quake areas

The Philippine Charity Sweepstakes Office (PCSO) has released the lotto shares of cities and municipalities in Bohol and Cebu to help in their earthquake-relief efforts.

Provinces, cities, and municipalities that host PCSO lotto outlets are entitled to a percentage of sales from these outlets, known as the “LGU share.”

From the January to June sales, P24.3 million will go to the province of Cebu and the cities of Toledo, Talisay, Naga, Mandaue, Lapu-Lapu, Cebu, Danao, Carcar and Bogo, and the towns of Argao, Bantayan, Balamban, Carmen, Cordova, Consolacion, Compostela, Dalaguete, Liloan, Moalboal, Minglanilla and Tuburan.

From sales from the same period, P3.4 million will go to the province of Bohol, the city of Tagbilaran and the towns of Anda, Antequera, Alicia, Jagna, Loon, Talibon, Ubay and Tubigon.
